Caboolture Historical Village

The Village plays host to schools from all over south-east Queensland annually. A visit to the village focuses on changes to our lifestyle, transport, communication and industry as a result of technology and innovation.  Students will learn of the origins of some of today’s most popular items, (e.g. Mobile phones and iPods) and give some thought to how advances in technology in the future may be influenced by the issues of today, (e.g. climate change, fossil fuels). The Village is made up of 70 buildings, housing some 14, 000 items and set on 12 acres. There is a Tearoom on site for light refreshments. The price per student is $9.90.  This price includes entry, GST.  1 adult to every 5 students is admitted free of charge. Beyond that ratio each adult pays the student price of $9.90. A train ride is included in this price. Our administration will send an invoice out to your school after the visit. All booking inquiries can be directed to our Administration on 07-54954581. We are happy to help with any further questions or concerns you may have. School visits are best conducted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to enable us to have demonstrators available for the activities you select. We have limited volunteers for these activities and they are not normally available on Mondays and Fridays. Please mention when you make your booking.
